24 Extra, 24.hu’s subscription service, now offers selected articles from other brands within Central Media Group alongside 24.hu’s own content, creating a shared digital space for the portfolio’s editorial strengths. Meanwhile, Kamilla Vida is launching a studio interview series, Filéző returns for a new season, and a new business podcast will feature financial experts from Accorde Asset Management.
Contributors from Marie Claire, Vezess, Nők Lapja and REFRESHER will now feature regularly on 24 Extra as it celebrates its second anniversary, further enriching 24.hu’s subscription offering.
As part of this investment in content, the podcast offering will expand from November. Kamilla Vida, 24.hu’s Opinion Editor, will launch Alany-állítmány, a freely accessible studio interview series. A new season of Filéző is also on the way: in each episode, Márton Jankovics and Dr Luca Varga will explore a divisive food ingredient, joined by a guest. Early episodes will feature Kristóf Steiner and György Dragomán. Meanwhile, 24.hu and Accorde Asset Management are launching a joint business show, Vadnyugati kapitalizmus, in which János Kele will speak with Attila Gyurcsik, Accorde’s CEO, and Dániel Tunkli, its Chief Investment Officer. Like Filéző, the podcast will be available in full to subscribers to 24 Extra’s Csúcs tier, with excerpts available free of charge.
24.hu’s events programme will also continue. The Mozi24 film club will screen Megáll az idő (Time Stands Still), while the Ziccer podcast will host a supporters’ club event in November. Editorial office tours will also launch under the name Szerkszafari. These offer readers the chance to explore the newsroom and 24.hu’s studio with members of the editorial team over a soft drink or a glass of wine.
The range of books jointly published with BookLab, Central Publishing Group’s nonfiction division, is also expanding. Mohács, the latest book by Dániel Bihari, author of the bestseller A tatárjárás, was launched a few weeks ago. Later this autumn, it will be joined by József Nagy’s book of reportage, Mozdonyfüst, and Bálint Szajki’s accompanying photography book, Idő-Állomás.
